About Us
We are blessed to live in the heart of Southern Maryland, where three counties connect; Calvert, Charles, and St. Mary's. This unique crossroads has shaped our passion for serving others, especially those in need of hope.
For more than twenty-five years, we have faithfully served our community through selfless acts of love. These acts includes praying for families, businesses, communities, schools, as well as organizing and supporting prayer events that invite others to join us in making a greater impact. At our core, we are deeply passionate about the power of prayer.
Our mission extends beyond our local community. We are participants in sponsoring children around the world, helping provide essential needs such as clothing, food, education, and shelter. Locally, we are committed to feeding to help meet the needs and consistently showing compassion through action.
About 10 years ago, we felt a strong calling to serve the homeless in a more direct way. After preparing and organizing food, our family traveled approximately forty miles to deliver meals to those in need in the District of Columbia. What began as a single act of obedience became a lasting commitment to serve.
In 2017, we began attending New Life Church in Southern Maryland, where we connected with the Helping Hands ministry—a compassionate group dedicated to serving the homeless throughout the US. Partnering with them has allowed us to expand our outreach and deepen our impact within the communities.
In October 2019, we felt a renewed and urgent desire to do even more. We committed as a family to increase our efforts in providing meals, essential supplies, and, most importantly, prayers of faith—because we truly believe that prayer changes things. The very next day, during Sunday service, the Senior Pastor spoke about helping the helpless, unknowingly confirming the calling placed on our hearts.
It wasn’t long afterwards, that calling became a reality as our mission grew into a nonprofit organization:
“Prayer Changes Things and People Too.”
We continue to be partners and are always seeking to engage with others who share a passion for prayer and serving those in need.
Grateful for the opportunities we have had to provide 3,000+ meals for individuals and families. Our goal is not only to meet physical needs but also to demonstrate the conviction behind our faith through love, service, and prayer.
Consider partnering with us!
